Siddharth Nigam is an Indian teen actor, who works in Indian television and films and is known for his roles in the film ''Dhoom 3'' (2013) and historical drama television show ''Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'' where he plays young emperor Ashoka.
== Life and career==

Nigam was born and brought up in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh on c.2000. He complete his tenth class studies at boarding school, where he practiced for gymnastics.〔 Later he moved Mumbai from Allahabad.〔 Nigam has won a gold medal in national-level gymnastics. He has an older brother and his mother runs an NGO and a beauty parlour.〔
Nigam began his career as a gymnast. He was selected on the national-level gymnastics, where he won a gold medal. Then he started his acting career in 2011 by appearing in Bournvita advertisement.〔 After watching him in advertisement, the makers of film ''Dhoom 3'' called him for an audition to play the younger version of Aamir Khan's character. The film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and it was released on 20 December 2013. Taran Adarsh of the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama reviewed, "Siddharth Nigam is a talent to watch out for. He's superb!" Writing for India Today Suhani Singh said, "He lights up the screen with his self-assured performance and charming presence."
After his successful debut in film, he entered on a small screen with the main lead in mythological drama series ''Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani'', where he played the pivotal role of young Rudra, born with extraordinary powers. The show aired on 15 December 2014 on Life Ok television.

In February 2015, Nigam played the pivotal role in the historical drama series ''Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat'', in which he is playing along with an ensemble cast including Sameer Dharmadhikari, Pallavi Subhash, Manoj Joshi, Sumit Kaul and Ankita Sharma, plays the lead role of young emperor Ashoka. For his performance in the series, he received fame and critical acclaim, and won Zee Gold Award for Best Actor Debut - Male and Indian Television Academy Award for Desh Ka Ladla''.〔〔
On 15 February 2015, Nigam appeared as a guest in special Mahashivratri episode on K9 Productions comedy/talk series ''Comedy Nights with Kapil''.
In August 2015, Nigam appeared as a guest dance performer in the eighth season of Colors TV's celebrity dance reality series ''Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'', where he performed with contestant Faisal Khan and Vaishnavi Patil in special "Teen Ka Tadka" episode.
And after that he even made an appearance at the Vallabh Youth Organisation in Vadodara in November 2015 along with Bhavya Gandhi to launch the app of krishna
